Who is this qualification for?

This qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training and wish to develop your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.

To achieve an Award in Leadership and Management, 4 credits must be achieved. A Certificate in Leadership and Management is award when 13 credits are achieved.

Any combination of 1 or 2 credit modules may be chosen.

This course has no exams. Assignments based on applying the course knowledge to your own real-life work experience are the primary assessment.

Upon completion of the lectures and the assessment, you will be awarded the ILM Certificate in Leadership & Management (Level 3). This certificate will help you further your career in management and further boost your chances of climbing the career ladder.
