Apply further knowledge and understanding of the Irish tax system through the study of further capital taxes, together with more advanced topics within the taxes studied previously

Impact of relevant taxes

Identify and evaluate the impact of relevant taxes on various situations and courses of action, including the interaction of taxes
Section C

Minimising and/or deferring tax liabilities

Provide advice on minimising and/or deferring tax liabilities by the use of standard tax planning measures
Section D

Communications

Communicate with clients, the Revenue Commissioners and other professionals in an appropriate manner.

Tom Kane

Thomas Kane is a Chartered Tax Advisor and Associate of the Irish Tax Institute. Thomas also has a Masters degree in Business specialising in Strategic Management, a Masters degree in International Relations and a first class honours degree in Business.

Thomas has a background working in multinational companies, government agencies, accountancy practices and as an independent tax advisor. Thomas specialises in taxation; lecturing on numerous courses both professional and undergraduate. He also lectures in Management subjects and Management Accounting.
